Discover the New Clover Health Provider Experience with Availity Essentials


At Clover Health, we strive to make it easier for providers to focus on what matters most: caring for their patients. 

Our new online Availity Essentials™ Provider Portal simplifies administrative tasks and gives you real-time access to key patient and plan information in one secure location.
 

Why the Change? 

We're partnering with Availity to reduce your administrative burden. Availity Essentials streamlines your workflows with a suite of features:
 

  • Real-time Eligibility & Benefits:

    Easily verify member eligibility, review current and past coverage, and see cost share details such as copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.

  • Enhanced Claim Status (with CARC/RARC codes and EOP access):

Check payment status and manage appeals. You can securely upload documentation, view payment details, and access EOP’s and prior claim activity without faxing or making additional calls.

  • Important: CARC/RARC reason codes are immediately available for all claims paid beginning 12/8/2025. Historical reason code data is currently being phased in: we anticipate all 2025 data will be available by early March, with all 2024 data completed by the end of April.
     

  • Digital Correspondence:

As a new feature in Availity Essentials, it allows us to pull in key letters and communications for you to access electronically.

  • Payer Spaces (specialized tools and prior authorization access):

Submit and track prior authorization requests directly through the portal. Real-time updates and detailed status information help you stay informed throughout the process.
