Clover Health is a healthcare technology company with a deep-rooted mission of helping its members live their healthiest lives. We empower patients and physicians through communication and education toward positive health outcomes.
As part of this mission, we strive to provide the most trustworthy and accurate information possible to our members, our partners, and the public. Our teams adhere to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ compliance standards when creating content for our website and all other member and provider communications.
Clover Health was founded in 2012 with the idea of using technology to improve patient outcomes. We began operating Medicare Advantage plans in New Jersey and have since expanded our coverage to 6 other states including Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. In 2016 we launched a clinical operations team composed of clinicians, social workers, software designers, and data scientists dedicated to developing products and services that deliver on our goal of improving every life. We’ve since built a technology platform, called Clover Assistant, designed to give physicians greater insight into patients’ health and improve outcomes. Today, Clover Health has offices in San Francisco, Jersey City, Nashville, and Hong Kong.
Clover Health uses its proprietary technology platform, Clover Assistant, to collect, structure, and analyze health and behavioral data to improve medical outcomes and lower costs for patients. As a company whose business goals fully align with its members’ health needs, Clover Health works with members and their doctors to become a valued partner. This trust is built by proactively identifying at-risk individuals and teaming up with providers to accelerate care coordination and simultaneously improve health outcomes and reduce avoidable costs.
