Dr. Kamran Tasharofi of Union County Healthcare Associates Earns Clover Preferred Care Provider Certification, Joining Elite Group of New Jersey’s Top Doctors
The Clover Assistant Application helps physicians provide better recommendations for their patients by presenting vital medical information at the point of care
Rahway, NJ (July 29, 2019) – Today, Clover Health announced that Dr. Kamran Tasharofi of Union County Healthcare Associates is joining its network of Clover Preferred Care Providers. Backed by proprietary data analytics and machine learning technologies, the Clover Assistant Application is an online platform that provides physicians with relevant, real-time data for each patient at the point of care. As a member of this prestigious group, Dr. Tasharofi is recognized for his dedication to using the Clover Assistant tool, which provides technology and data for a personalized healthcare experience for Clover members.
“We are pleased to announce that Dr. Tasharofi is joining the growing network of Clover Preferred Care Providers certified in the Clover Assistant Application, our tool that helps doctors deliver the best care possible to their patients,” said Ethan Lipkind, Chief Development Officer at Clover. “Partnering with top-tier physicians such as Dr. Tasharofi is extremely valuable as we continue developing the platform to best serve patients and doctors alike.”
The Clover Assistant Application was built to create a holistic and actionable view of patient data from across the entire healthcare ecosystem. As such, the Clover Assistant Application dynamically surfaces up-to-date, patient-specific information including medications filled in the last year, open care gaps, and evaluation and treatment suggestions, based on multiple data sources. With this knowledge, doctors can make more informed care decisions without having to rely on a patient’s memory for an accurate health history.
“I’m excited to be working with Clover and implementing this technology at my practice,” said Dr. Tasharofi. “The Clover Assistant Application offers a personalized roadmap for each patient’s health history, so I can provide faster, more comprehensive diagnoses and care plans.”
Dr. Kamran Tasharofi, MD, is an internal medicine physician and civil surgeon who has been in practice since 2000, when he graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Tasharofi serves as Medical Director at Union County Healthcare Associates (in six locations) and Grace Healthcare Services in Edison. He is also the Medical Director at the Center for Hope Hospice in Elizabeth and Scotch Plains. He is fluent in English and Farsi.
By offering a streamlined view of a patient’s healthcare journey, the Clover Assistant Application allows physicians to make the most of their patient visits. Using its machine learning technology, the tool also helps the provider to prioritize immediate patient needs, so each member receives the right care at the right time.
The Clover Assistant Application, launched as a pilot program in mid-2018, is the latest step in Clover’s commitment to empowering doctors to improve health outcomes for the company’s Medicare Advantage plan members.
