South Carolina Questions

Where are Clover Health Medicare Advantage plans available in South Carolina?

Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Edgefield, Hampton, Jasper, McCormick, Orangeburg and Saluda counties.

Can I see a provider who is not in the Clover Network?

Unlike other Medicare Advantage plans with narrow networks, Clover has provider networks that are broad and open, enabling its members to see any doctor participating in Medicare who is willing to accept them. Clover also focuses on keeping out-of-pocket costs for its members to an absolute minimum and allows members to pay the same low cost-sharing regardless of whether the doctor is in- or out-of-network.

How can I reduce my Part D prescription drug costs?

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for state and federal programs to reduce your Part D costs. Check with Medicare to see if you qualify for the Low-Income Subsidy (LIS).

Can Clover plans work with the Low-Income Subsidy or Medicaid?

Yes. You can use your LIS with any of our plans, but our South Carolina Choice Value PPO is designed to coordinate with the benefits you're entitled to with the LIS.
